Toccoa Police Department SWAT Training

Report a Crime Tip

In 2010 the Toccoa Police Department became committed to assisting citizens in improving the quality of life in their neighborhoods. In doing so, the department began actively seeking input from neighborhood residents as to what they feel are problems the police can help correct. The goal is simple, develop a partnership between the residents and the police which will reduce crime, make the neighborhoods safer, and improve the working relationship between the two."

TOCCOA is an acronym for Together Our Community Can Overcome Anything. Together, the Toccoa police department and the citizens it serves can overcome any problems and improve the quality of life for everyone involved.

In every type of investigation the input received from the public is crucial in solving the case. This information may be a tip on who committed a robbery, theft, the location of a drug house, the location of blight, code violations, or a host of other information.

Unfortunately, a tip does not always mean closure to a particular investigation, however, it can be a crucial piece of information that may lead to an arrest and conviction. We have developed a tip page in an attempt to receive information from anyone who prefers to remain anonymous, or does not want to talk on the phone, or for someone who simply prefers the internet as a means of communication. Simply download the .doc file, type in your tip, and email to Assistant Chief Tim Jarrell. You can also drop off the form at the police department during office hours or in the drop off box at the front door of Toccoa City Hall.

If you have information concerning a specific crime or information relating to suspected Criminal Activity, send it to the City of Toccoa Police Department. We appreciate as much information as you can supply.

An offender description, vehicle description, house description and all other related information is crucial in solving a particular crime being investigated. The more information supplied results in an increased chance in closure of the case.

Once again, thank you in advance for the information you supply.
